George Harvey “Chip” Senteney, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was born in Fort Collins, CO to the late George F. and Barbara (Ebert) Senteney. Chip was united in marriage to Sukanya Noopim on January 16, 2009.
Chip received his undergraduate degree from Ripon College and his law degree from UW Madison. He worked for many years as a trial attorney in Eau Claire, WI and was a member of the Wisconsin Trial Attorneys Association. George was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. He loved to fish and looked forward to opening day every year. His passion for traveling took him to every state, Europe and Thailand. He was a history buff who never left a historical marker unread. George loved the ocean and going to the arboretum to look at wildlife. He and Sukanya enjoyed counting the number of wild turkeys they saw there. He looked forward to the Spring when the lilacs were in bloom. He was known for his quick wit, kind heart, and ever-giving spirit.
Chip will be deeply missed by his wife, Sukanya; daughter, Elise (Glen “Drew”) Lundt and her mother, Katheleen Senteney; grandchildren, Addison and Lexie Lundt, son Colin Senteney, stepmom Eleanor Senteney and his cousin Dianne Mason who was more like a sister to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Barbara Senteney.
