Mayme Williams

September 22, 1933 — December 3, 2020

Mayme Eugene (Waller) Williams, Age 87 of Madison, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 3rd 2020.  She was born on September 22, 1933, to Robert Sr. and Sallie Waller.

Mayme was born in Boonville, IN. Marrying her husband Joseph (Joe) W. Williams Sir. On September 13th 1952. And to this union 8 children which she loved dearly were born.

Mayme and Joe moved the family to Madison in 1969. Mayme was a active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she loved to worship. She was a member for over 40 years. Mayme strongly believed in her faith in God; kept her strong in life.

Mayme love to speed time with her family and grandchildren. She always make sure she spent with them on their  birthday and Christmas.

She loved the Green Bay packers on any given Sunday she would be  home looking at the game.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Sir. And Sallie Waller, husband, Joseph (Joe) W. Williams, sons, Michael Williams, Ricky Williams and Joseph (Nuke) W. Williams Jr. and Sisters, Earnestine Bell, Ann L. Mockobee, brothers Robert Jr. Richard and John Waller.

Mayme is survived by two sons Victor Williams of Madison, WI., Bruce Williams of Wisconsin, Three daughters, Vicky Williams (Schultz) and husband Stan of Madison, WI., Kelly Williams of Los Vegas, NE. And Valerie Williams (Perry Colmen) of Madison, WI. Two sisters Mattie G. Jones of Boonville, IN., Nancy S. Young of Evansville, IN.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a number of other beloved family and friends.

A private funeral service was held on December 15th 2020. At Cress Funeral & Cremation. With Pastor Scott Anderson officiating.

The family would like to thank Samantha Raucci and their staff at Cress Funeral for their great compassion, understanding and time they spent with the family making sure we had everything we needed and care they had the day of the service. We will forever be grateful.
