Aaron Armstrong

Madison - Aaron Armstrong, age 35 passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011. He was born on June 24, 1976 in Azores, Portugal, the son of William Helgeson and Michelle Backs. Aaron was a kind hearted and smart man, who was creative and self-taught. He was extremely loyal and devoted to his family and friends. Most of all his children meant the world to him. They were his pride and joy. Aaron worked for TDS Telecom as a technical support specialist, where he used his love for computers and computer skills. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, computers, reading and playing games. Aaron is survived by his daughter; Kayla, son; Anthony, parents; William Helgeson and Michelle Backs, stepfather; Michael Carney of Deerfield, three brothers; Adam Carney of Janesville, Chad Helgeson of Oswego, IL, and Carlos Torres of Oswego, IL, three sisters; Gina Billings of Knippa, TX, Mikaela Carney of Madison, and Jacqueline Helgeson of North Providence, Rhode Island, maternal grandparents; Mark and Adele Backs of Tuscon, AZ, paternal grandmother; Frances Helgeson of Oswego, IL and his two beloved "babies"; Chloe and Dante. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Howard Helgeson and aunt Jennifer Malley. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 3:00pm at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until the time of service.
