Ada Ann Jones

Ada Ann Jones, age 90, of Madison passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born October 30, 1934 in Hancock WI to David and Ernestine Kemnitz. On November 8, 1952, Ada married the love of her life, Wilbur “Bill” Jones with whom she built a beautiful life and family. She dedicated over 25 years of service to the state of Wisconsin working at the Department of Collections

Ada found joy in the simple pleasures of life – gardening, cooking and traveling the world. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends creating lasting memories. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. Holidays were filled with warmth, laughter and love and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children Terri (Glen)Fischer, Richard Jones and Jacqueline (David) Tadych, Her brother Brian Kemnitz (Lani) and her beloved grandchildren Heather (Jared) Zimmerman, Grant (Caroline) Fischer, Paul (Amanda) Tadych, Samantha Tadych, Danielle (Kyle) Schuettpelz, Jacob Jones (Andrea Johnson) and Nicole Jones plus 9 great grandchildren. Ada was proceeded in death by her husband Wilbur “Bill” Jones, her parents, David and Ernestine Kemnitz and her brother Kenneth Kemnitz.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday April 7, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison WI. Visitation taking place from 9-11 AM followed by a service at 11AM.

Ada’s kindness, love and unwavering devotion to her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
