Adam Thomas Runde

Adam Thomas Runde, beloved infant son of Jeff and Corissa Runde, born Jan. 8, 2009, passed away peacefully in his parents' arms on Feb. 3, 2009. Adam is survived by his parents; grandparents Tom and Sharon Runde and Jim Jansen; aunts and uncles Julie and Aaron Leibfried and Tessa and Mike Lambe; cousins Connor and Paige Lambe and Derek, Troy and Emma Leibfried; as well as many other relatives and friends. Adam was known as a feisty little guy by his wonderful doctors and nurses in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Meriter Hospital, where he fought bravely for four weeks after being born three months early, weighing 1 lb., 14 oz. He touched many lives with his big, beautiful eyes, his fighting spirit and his amazing ability to overcome so many obstacles. Adam was loved tremendously in his all too brief life, and his mommy and daddy will cherish and remember their beautiful boy forever. Visitation will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at St. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11a.m. with Father David J. Greenfield presiding. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 2705 Regent St., Madison.
