Stoughton- Adeline Rose Klingaman, age 90, died on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Skaalen Nursing Home. She was born in Basco on September 8, 1918 to Jake and Estie (Carroll) Geiger. Adeline was married to Harvey Klingaman on April 1, 1940. Together they farmed in Jefferson County and then in the Dane County area. Adeline loved her family and was happiest when she could have most of them with her. Sunday dinners at the farm' were her specialty. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, as well as traveling. Adeline is survived by her six children, Mary Ann Ulrich of S. Beloit, IL, Diane (Harold) Turbyfill of Spruce Pine, NC, twins, Robert (Annette) of Stoughton and Richard (Linda) of Lake Placid, FL, Allen (Carol) of Lake Mills and Gary (Laurie) of Stoughton; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two sisters, Esther (Glen) Dorr and Grace Fischer of New Glarus; sister-in-law, Helen Muckler of Lone Rock; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; and her siblings, Laverne Geiger and Mary Lou Klitzke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Stoughton Baptist Church, on the corner of Williams Drive and Highway B. Reverend Robert Dow will officiate. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery South. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. A special thanks to the staff of the Heritage Center at Skaalen Home.
