Alan F Krueger

Alan F. Krueger, age 84, died peacefully at HospiceCare in Fitchburg on January 24, 2009.  Alan was born January 4, 1925 the son of Elmer and Cresence (Harter) Krueger in Campbellsport, WI.   He was a graduate of Campbellsport High School, and attended Oshkosh State Teachers College, and Spencerian Buisness College in Milwaukee.   Alan was united in marriage to Dorothy Behnisch on May 17, 1958 in Madison.   He was employed as an auditor for the Hartford Insurance Company, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.   Alan in survived by his loving   wife of 50 years; Dorothy, children, Tom (Kim) of LaGrange, IL, Cathy (Doug) Gresenz of Duluth, GA, and Jim (Lisa)   of Sun Prairie; sister Joan (Joe) Klotz of Campbellsport, sister and brother-in-law Lorraine and Jack Sachs of Rockford, IL; four beloved grandchildren; Anna and Ben Krueger, and Jen and Jeff Gresenz; 10 nieces and nephews and their families; his extended family on Virginia Terrace, and his many friends at Blessed Sacrament Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Mary.   A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in Monday, January 26, 2009 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Blessed Sacrament School Endowment Fund, the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, or the charity of your choice.
