Alice Beckner

MADISON - On April 22, 2021, Alice Ann Beckner passed away peacefully at age 87 after a brief illness. Known as "Sug" to family and friends, she was a Southern lady with a passion for sharing her faith and spent her life caring for others.

Alice Ann is predeceased by her husband, Dale Beckner; her brother, Clarence Kirby; and her parents, Hunter H. and Lula K.(Niece) Kirby. She is survived by her niece, Christine Taylor; and nephew Stephen Clay Kirby.  In addition, she enjoyed the love and support of seven great and nine great-great nieces and nephews. Her sweet voice and words of encouragement will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at Cress Funeral and Cremation Service, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11am. Friends may greet the family from 10am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 7302 Mineral Point Rd, Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gary Sinise Foundation.
