Alice Frisch

Alice Frisch (Schoeberle), 85, of Madison, WI, died on January 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 29, 1936 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Adler) Schoeberle and was one of eight children. She married Marvin Frisch on July 4, 1957 and joyfully shared her life with him until his death in 2015.

Alice enjoyed cruising, casino trips, gardening, playing cards, board games, fishing, cheering on the Packers, various crafts, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her six children, Debra (Jordan), Steve (Cathy), Diane (Bruce), Julie (Brian), Janet (John) and Jeffrey; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray Schoeberle, Geri Kerrigan, Dorothy McNally, and Bill (Karen) Schoeberle; siblings-in-law, David Frisch, Daniel (Kathy) Frisch, Michael (Patty) Frisch, Lavonne Kadrmas, Rosie Frisch, and Mary Schoeberle; and many other family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; brothers, Andrew and Henry Schoeberle; sister, Mary Anna (Dolly) Alberts; in-laws, Bill Kerrigan, Jim McNally, Don Frisch, Ray Kadrmas, Carol Schoeberle, and Pat Schoeberle.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish, 602 Everglade Drive, Madison on Thursday, February 3rd until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Bart Timmerman will officiate. Private family inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest that donations be made to one of two charities that had been particularly important to her: St. Thomas Aquinas  ( http://stamadison.org/donate/ ) or Carbone Cancer Center ( http://cancer.wisc.edu/ways-to-give/ )

If you are unable to join us in person, the funeral mass for Alice will stream live on YouTube beginning at 11:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022.
