Madison- Alice Therese Kramer Gwaltney, age 84, died on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Middleton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Alice, the daughter of Louis and Theresa (Lidral) Belleau, was born on August 27, 1926 in Algoma, Wisconsin. She lived in Green Bay, WI and moved to Madison in the 1960's. Her family and faith were a big part of her life.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Steven J. (Mary) Kramer of Waukesha, WI and Thomas A. (Diane) Kramer of Middleton, WI; her five grandchildren, Paul (Jennifer) Kramer, Jennifer (Mark) Yancey, Julie (William) Knaack, Brenda (Korby) Egert, Kristi (Scott) Sullivan; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Belleau of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, William Belleau of DePere, WI and George (Nora) Belleau of Athelstane, WI; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Chad Droessler presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
