Alice Lawrence

Stoughton- Alice Lawrence, age 88, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011. She was born in Switzerland on September 14, 1922, the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Richner) Hofmann. Alice is survived by two children, Ruea Jean Marinin and Jim Byrnes; five grandchildren, Tauna, Clinton, Vanessa, Sherri and Johnny-Ray; four great grandchildren, Ross, Leah, Naomi and Samuel ""Sam""; great great granddaughter, Avery; sister, Emily; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ray Byrnes; second husband, Archie Lawrence; and siblings, Ruth, Fred and Sylvia ""Toots."" Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 7302 Mineral Point Road, Madison. Alice was dearly loved and will be missed.
