Alice Motl

Waterloo/Sun Prairie - Alice Lillian Motl, age 95 passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Karmenta Nursing Home. She was born on June 3, 1918 in Waterloo, the daughter of Arthur and Matta (Kelch) Korth. In 1936, Alice was united in marriage to Clarence Motl in Waterloo. For over 20 years, Alice worked for Central Colony as a nursing assistant until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, fishing and playing cards. Alice is survived by her three children; Gerald Motl of Parlow, Virginia, Daniel Motl of Parker, Colorado and Priscilla Motl of Waterloo, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother and a sister. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1981 and six siblings. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waterloo. The family would like to extend a special thank you to mom's care giver and special friend, Joan Quinn, for all that she has done for our mother.
