Alice M. Snyder

Stoughton- Alice Marie Snyder, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born in Stoughton on January 10, 1950, the daughter of Paul and Ruby Stenjem.

Alice attended Stoughton schools. On December 6, 1969 she married Roger Snyder. Together they enjoyed traveling and long car rides, and going to craft shows. Alice loved playing BINGO, cards, crossword puzzles, and watching Andy Griffith, I love Lucy, and the Golden Girls. She worked at IKI Manufacturing for 35 years until her retirement in 2016.

Alice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roger; four children, Sherry (Jon) Vick, Scott (Becky), Mark (Tami), and Kim Snyder; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah (Raymond), Andy (Maddy), Christopher, Emily (Jake), Tiffany, Ashley (Mitch), Whitney (BJ), and Sakara; six great grandchildren, Jaxsyn, Mason, Theodore, Kira, Alice, and Winnie; four siblings, Jerry, Marcella, Ruth Ann “Tootsie”, and Bonnie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda; and sister-in-law, Nancy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following at the Stoughton American Legion. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of services Wednesday.
