Alison “Ali” N. Armstrong, age 45, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 21, 2024 after a long battle with EDS.  She was born on June 7, 1978 in Racine to David and Lesley (Hintz) Armstrong.

Ali was a graduate of DC Everest High School in Wausau, WI.  She went on to further her education at UW Eau Claire.  She then received her master’s degree at the age of 23 from UW Whitewater.

Ali started her career in Markesan as a middle school counselor.  After two years, she was excited to accept a position at the “New School” in Sun Prairie, Horizon Elementary, where she was the guidance counselor.  Ali had an undying love for her profession, and she loved the “Horizon” children as her own!

Through all of her daily pain and struggles, she always greeted everyone with a warm smile and a great big hug!

Ali was an active member of the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church where she, once again, able to provide for children as a confirmation mentor.

Ali enjoyed traveling, especially when she traveled to Sanibel Island to look for shells.  Her most treasured trip was to Burma with Horizon educators where they worked on developing education for the native children.

Burma was her biggest adventure in her journey of education, and we are quite certain that Burma was never quite the same after Ali!  Her electric presence and silliness were ever contagious!

We are at peace knowing that she is reunited with her Daddio in Heaven along with many other loved ones.

Ali is survived by her mother Lesley Armstrong (Bob Lange); sister Amy (Mike) Brown; niece/Goddaughter Reagan Brown (Braden Hall); nephews Austin and Carson Brown; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and tons of friends and colleagues.  Ali will also be missed dearly by her fur baby, Leo.
