Aliza Martinez

Aliza Martinez, beloved daughter of Ana Tepepa and Tony Martinez, and adored baby sister of Serenity and Kailee, passed into eternal life in the arms of her parents on April 19, 2023. Aliza was born August 29, 2022, and baptized January 1, 2023. She shared her mother’s patient and serene spirit: no matter what physical challenges she experienced, her eyes unfailingly lit up at her mother’s gaze, her father’s voice, and the attention of her sisters. She had her father’s strong spirit, too: for seven months, she fought bravely, inspiring those around her with her persistence. Aliza had a gentle temperament and a contagious smile. She knew only love, and in turn, loved fully and gave joy and hope all who knew her. With the love of her family and friends, she fulfilled the promise of her baptism and brought her Christian dignity unstained into the everlasting life of heaven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 1204 St. James Court,  on  Tuesday, April 25, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will precede Mass at St. James, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
