Allen Hable

Madison – Allen J. Hable, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Heritage Senior Living in Middleton. He was born on April 3, 1938, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the son of Albert and Arlyle (Ackerman) Hable. Allen was united in marriage to Judy Taugher on June 16, 1962.

He graduated from UW Madison in Mechanical Engineering.  He worked for various companies, mostly being medically oriented. For hobbies, he liked to fly model airplanes in Madison, Oshkosh, WI & Mesa, AZ. After retiring, he loved to travel in his motorhome all over the US & Canada.

Allen is survived by his wife, Judy Hable; his children, Diane (Darrel) Roberts and Jeff Hable; grandchildren, Jared Roberts and Samantha Roberts.

He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Gerald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison, on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11:00 am with Father Scott Emerson presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.

Allen requested that memorial gifts be given to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church or Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
