Allen Wrchota

McFarland- Allen “Rock” Lloyd Wrchota passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022.  He was born on May 21, 1943 to Lloyd and Agnes (McDermott) Wrchota.  Al married Edna Wipperfurth 45 years ago on November 5, 1976.

Al worked for Thorstad and the Madison School District.  He loved being with friends and family, going on road trips and sharing his memories of the area, or sitting around a campfire with a cold beer telling BS stories.

Al is survived by his wife, Edna; son, Christopher (Nicole); granddaughter, Amber; sisters, Carol Mack and Kay (John) Corbin; brother, Jim (Becky Duvall) Wrchota; in-laws, Jane Kuehn, Diane Griffith, Doris (Steve) Kalscheur, Rich (Jeannie) Wipperfurth, Robin Wipperfurth; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Vic and Henrietta Wipperfurth; sister-in-law, Lois Wipperfurth; brothers-in-law, Howard Mack, Joe Kuehn, Paul Wipperfurth, and Gene Griffith; and niece, Tina Paulson.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5306 Main Street, McFarland.  Private burial will take place in St. John’s Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may greet the family from 9:30 AM until the time of services at church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for family wishes.
