Andrew Emil Ninedorf

Andy E. Ninedorf age 85, passed away from due to advanced Alzheimer ‘s disease and vascular dementia on November 18^th, 2023 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI.

Andy was born on June 15^th, 1938 to Edward and Viola Ninedorf of Madison. He graduated from Central High School in 1956 and served in the United States Navy from 1961-1965. He settled in Sun Prairie, WI and worked for WPS in Madison for 29 years. After the death of his first wife Sandy, he was united in marriage to Joy FitzSimmons in February of 1982.

Andy is survived by his wife 41 years, Joy Ninedorf; his son Brent Ninedorf (Laura) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Kristi Ninedorf (Kyle Tolley) of Middleton, WI; granddaughters Hannah and Mia; his niece Sarah Clark; and his nephew Jonathan Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Sandy, his son Scot, his sister-in-law Diane Clark, his brother-in-law Scott Clark, his father-in-law, Russell Clark, and his very best friend & mother-in-law Joyce Clark.

Per Andy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services and a military burial at sea will happen at a later date.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the VA who took care of Andy in his final days.
