Angeline Kreutz

Angeline (Ernst) Kreutz, age 98, of Madison, Wisconsin passed away on October 12,, 2022 at Vista West Assisted Living Center.  She was born on June 2, 1924 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of Otto and Ida Ernst.  She married Lester Peter “Pete” Kreutz February 1, 1947 in Sheboygan.

Angeline moved to Sheboygan and later graduated from Sheboygan Central High School.   She had a very strong faith, was a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, and later Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Angeline enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, gardening, playing bingo, and supporting her favorite teams the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.  She was kind and compassionate always putting others before herself.

Angeline is survived by sons Richard and David (Amy) and daughter Wendy (Dennis Mulholland), six grandchildren;  Jennifer (Scott) Krantz, Brian (Jen) Kreutz, Chad Margenau, Andrea Margenau, Tim (Alyssa) Kreutz, Jeff Kreutz and nine great grandchildren;  Michael, Kaylee, and Kyle Krantz, Anna and Brandon Kreutz, Payton and Tristan Margenau, and Trevor and Logan Kreutz. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester (“Pete”), three sisters Hildegard, Myrtle and Ruth, her brother Elroy, longtime companion William Zorn and daughter in law Eileen Kreutz.

Funeral services for Angeline will be at Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University Ave., Madison WI  53705 on October 22, 2022 at 10:00 am.  Visitation will precede the service at 9:30 a.m.  Graveside burial services will be at 2:00 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Kohler, WI  53044.

The family would like to thank everyone at Vista West and Agrace for their care and compassion during Mom’s final days.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Agrace Hospice Care.
