Ann R. Hoske

Sun Prairie--Ann R. Hoske, age 74, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Ann was born on September 5, 1936, in Dunmore, PA, the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Strucko) Molessa. After high school graduation, Ann went on to graduate from Hahnemann Hospital Nursing School in Scranton, PA, becoming a registered nurse. She lived in Waukegan, IL, for 19 years and in 1979 moved to Madison and worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Sun Prairie as the assistant manager of Human Resources & Environmental Safety for over 30 years. Ann found enjoyment in reading biographies and other books about history. She was also a longtime caregiver for her mother. Ann was a veteran of the US Navy. She is survived by her son Mark (Denise) Hoske of Elgin, IL; grandchildren Danielle, Martha, Iris and Tim; sister Joan (Edward) Guy of Palm Coast, FL; very dear friend and sister Brenda Moran of Madison; niece Gail Meisinger and nephew Kevin Kierney; other relatives and friends. Her parents preceded her in death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 5-7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 until the time of service. Burial will take place in Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
