Anna M. Williams, passed away Sunday March 10, 2013. Anna was born March 26, 1929, the daughter of Guy and Emma Vanderhoef. She married Wayne Williams September 10, 1947.
Anna loved working in the flowers, making quilts and crafts for her children. She also loved bingo. Macular degeneration put an end to most activities. She still played cards with her family and enjoyed over night trips to the casino, and going to the Northwoods cabin.
She worked for Goodyear in Sun Prairie until her retirement. She was a hard worker.
Anna enjoyed being with her 7 children, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was known as Grandma Toots.
Anna is survived by her children; Dixie (Ken) Johnson, Mazomanie, WI, Sue (Tom) Sosinsky of Princeton, WI Mike (Lori) Williams of McFarland, WI, Lee (Judy) Williams of Princeton, WI, Lynne (Rick) Sniff of Browntown, WI, Dawn (Phil) Metzger of Aurora, ILL and Lisa (Dave) Johnson of Sun Prairie, WI; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and brother John (Sheila) Vanderhoef of Mass.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, parents, and brothers Jim (Clara) and George.
A mother is someone who understands her children's past, believes in their future, and loves them just the way they are.
Thank you to Dr. Paul Schmidt, Agrace Hospicecare, Home Health and St. Mary's Hospital. Also, Cress Funeral Home for taking care of the arrangements.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:30 am at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am prior to services.
