Antoinette Ruth Richards

MIDDLETON - Antoinette (Toni) Ruth Richards, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at UW Hospital. She was born on December 22, 1938, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of Jerome and Lillian Ulan. She married Donald J. Richards on January 13, 1990.

Toni graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with an associate degree. She had further orthoptic training and was the founding member of the Chicago Orthoptic association. She practiced her profession in Madison, and in Evanston and Libertyville, IL.

Toni was a board member at the Weisman Center and a docent at the Chazen Art Museum. She enjoyed walking, travelling, and puzzle books.

She is survived by her husband, Don Richards; daughter Robin, son Steven; granddaughters Cameron, Lexi, and Delaney; brother Howard (Rosemary), 4 stepchildren, 7 step grandchildren; and 6 step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Lillian Ulan.

A funeral service will be held at the Cress Center, 6021 University Avenue, Madison WI 53705, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held on March 15 from 11:00 AM to the time of service. Tori will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery following the service.
