April Feldbruegge

Waunakee/Sun Prairie/Madison- April E Feldbruegge, age 29, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

April was born on October 30, 1990 in Madison, Wisconsin. April grew up in Waunakee, Wisconsin. April and her sisters were often known as the three A’s. Growing up April played soccer, basketball, ran cross country, and danced.  Through sports April created life-long friendships. April enjoyed art and loved her cats.

April graduated from Waunakee High School in 2009. After graduation April entered the workforce where she met her closest and dearest friends. April worked to serve others.  To many April was a friend, but to her family she was a sister and daughter. April will be missed dearly by her two sisters and father.

“People don’t always see the tears a DAD cries, his heart is broken too when his beloved child dies, he tries to hold it together and tries to be strong, even though his whole world’s gone wrong, he goes through his day doing what he’s supposed to do, but a piece of his heart has been ripped away too, so when he’s alone he lets out his pain, and his tears come down like pouring rain, his world has crashed, all that was bright has gone completely dim, he searches for answers but none are to be found, who offers to help a DAD up when he’s hit the ground, he smiles through his fears, struggles trying to hold in his tears, but what you see on the outside is not always real, he feels has to be strong for others, but DADS hurt too.”-  A Dad Hurts Too

April is survived by her father Tom Feldbruegge, two sisters Ashley (RJ) Derry and Allison Feldbruegge, and special friend Nick Sgrignoli. April is preceded in death by her mother Kim Feldbruegge, grandparents Joseph & Nancy Hogan and Dennis & Arlene Feldbruegge.

Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a memorial service to follow at 12:00pm (noon).  April will be brought to her final place of rest at Roselawn Memorial Park, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona immediately following the memorial service.
