Arlette Brown

Sun Prairie - Arlette M. Brown, age 86, of Sun Prairie, WI, died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Hyland Park of Sun Prairie.

She was born in Madison, WI on December 18, 1924 to Harry and Anna (Kerlinske) Jackson. She graduated from East High School in Madison, WI in 1943.

She married her high school sweet heart, Ronald Brown and raised a family. She worked as a taylor at Hillenbrandt's in Sun Prairie and was a friend to all. She loved all children, animals, travel, bingo and life.

She is survived by her twin sister, Arleen (Jack) Klund of Green Valley, AZ; her children, Al (Mary) Brown of Sun Prairie, Randy (Barbara) Brown of Racine, Deborah Caracci (Craig Hoaglund) of Delafield and Roxanne Brown (Steve Beauchamp) of Palmyra, WI. She also raised numerous foster children inlcuding Mary Ring of Waterloo, WI and Ralph Anderson of Bonneau, SC; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a special friend, Bob Hjort of Sun Prairie, WI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Brown, their infant son, Ronnie Ray Brown, her parents, aunts, uncles and a nephew.

Memorials can be directed to the family in Arlette's memory.

Funeral services will be held at the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, 702 North Street, Sun Prairie, WI on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Scott Carlson will officiate. A visitation will also be held at the church on Monday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Burial will conclude at Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison.
