Arnold Johnson

Arnold A. Johnson, 76, of Madison, WI passed away on November 28, 2014 at Meriter Hospital, surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold, in 1967, his sister, Faith, in 1998 and his mother, Mary, in 2001. He is survived by his brother Robert, his four children, Pamela, Matthew, Megan, and Nancy, and his 12 grand-children, Sydney, Kylie, Grant, Adeline, Eleanor, Jillian, Emilia, Lillian, Athena, Makayla, Jordan, and Norah.

Arnold worked as a professor of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin in Madison for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, the Boundary Waters, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid reader with a witty sense of humor and hundreds of clever anecdotes which those closest to him heard dozens of times but will miss forever.

A gathering was held privately in honor of our father.
