Arthur Garske

Madison - Arthur Ronald Garske, age 89 passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. He was born on April 17, 1928 in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Arthur and Lois (Butler) Garske.

There's really not enough words in this world to convey in full the magnitude of this man, his wife, his legacy...
Art and his wife Nancy Garske's son and daughter Ronald A. Garske, and Rebecca Garske, and grandchildren all will have the honor and the privilege to carry on their legacy and generations forever... As well as forever grateful for their creation of all these lives... Art and Nancy you are forever thought of and forever missed. (Love u Art-send them many signs!!!)

Arthur, (US VET), Lifetime Member of VFW Post, 8483. Is survived by his two children, Ronald Arthur Garske of Madison and Rebecca (Thomas Holden) Garske; six grandchildren, Anthony (Jennifer Slater) Garske, Nicholas Otis, Kenneth, Ashley Ann and Christian Holden, Scott Garske; all from Madison, WI. Three GREAT grandchildren, Kayden Holden, Arian Jace Hodges and Olivia Garske and two sisters, Bev Wolf, Nancy (Bill) Kincade from AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy Garske and Brother Norman Garske.

Private graveside services will be held at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Arthur to the family at 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin 53704.
