Ashley Wood

Madison - Ashley Wood, age 16, became our Angel on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, with her loving family by her side.  She was born on December 18, 2006, in Madison to David and Tonya Wood. 

Ashley is survived by her parents, grandparents, Kathy Wood, Richard and Janice Kraemer and her long-term care giver, Barbara Martinez.  She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Norman Wood and great aunt, Lynn Cohee.

“Ashley, we will never forget your infectious smile, love of the outdoors and passion for bird (& squirrel) watching. You brought so much light to our lives, and you’ll remain in our hearts forever. Love mom and dad.”                                                                                     

There will be a memorial gathering for Ashley on Wednesday, June 21 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., from 4 pm until the time of the memorial service at 6 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ashley’s name may be directed to Give Kids the World Village (https://www.gktw.org/  )
