Audrey Braun

Audrey Braun, age 72, passed away peacefully on Monday Jan. 28, 2013 at Tivoli Health Care Center in Portage, WI. She was born on July 9, 1940 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Daulin and Amanda Smith. Audrey married Einer Braun on August 4, 1960. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. She also love to cook and bake and that became part of her personal life and career. Audrey and Einer lived for many years in Waunakee before moving to Portage in 1994.
Survivors include her husband Einer; three children David, Linda and Christopher; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers Tom, Michael, and a sister Doris (James) Banes. She was preceded in death by a brother James and an infant son Timothy.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. Feb 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee, Rev. Kirsten Fryer will preside. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home on Friday Feb. 1, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison.
