Audrey Halverson

Stoughton- Audrey Mae (Dybevik) Halverson, age 92, passed away on Monday February 6, 2023, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton.  She was born December 3, 1930, to the late Jens and Mildred (Lund) Dybevik.  She is a 1948 graduate of Stoughton High School and received her teaching certificate from Whitewater College. She taught at Bass Lake School, Utica School, Lakeside School and also in the Stoughton Schools.

Audrey married Roger Halverson on June 14, 1952, and she is survived by her children Sue (Jeff) Natvig, Margit (John) Gerber, Burton Halverson, Bruce Halverson and Becky Johnson;  grandchildren Cory (Michelle) Graffin, Kevin (Adelei) Graffin, Brian (Sara) Stensaas, Paul (Danielle) Gerber, Blake (Kellie) Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Emma Halverson and Eli Halverson; great grandchildren Paige, Ashley, Samantha, Duke, Keith, Beau, May, Leo, Nina and Mollie; brother Richard (Judy) Dybevik, brother-in-law Lowell (Pat) Halverson; and is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and grand dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, brother Bud (Evie) Dybevik, sister-in-law Lucille (Art) Linnerud and grandsons Gunnar, Connor and Jack.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday February 13, 2023, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton with Rev Wendy Moen presiding.  Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the service at the funeral home on Monday.
