Barbara Bussiere

Barbara Helen (Linde) Bussiere died peacefully in the Stoughton Hospital on September 28, 2019. Barbara was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 1942, and lived there until her family moved to Southern California in 1961. She graduated as a RN from Los Angeles County General Hospital, later earning her BSN and 3 undergraduate degrees. She practiced and taught nursing in California, Minnesota, Oregon, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. After marrying her husband, the late LTC Richard Bussiere in Heidelberg, Germany in 1970, the couple moved to Marquette, MI and she remained there for many years until returning to the East Coast to Boiling Springs, PA before moving to Wisconsin to be near her son and his family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1983, her father and mother (Evald and Catherine Linde) and 2 infant sons (Matthew and Nathan).

She is survived by her son Andrew (Michelle) and granddaughter Taylor; sisters Katherine (Tom) Courtemarche of Redding, CA and Virginia (John) De Rue of Libertyville, Ill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara's committal service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1400 Wright Street in Marquette on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
