Barbara Gher-Henderson

Barbara Ann Gher-Henderson, age 75, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg.

Barb was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on February 9, 1946 to the late Donald and Dixie (McHome) Gher. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey L. Henderson in Sun Prairie on a crisp fall day, October 8, 1983.

Barb attended Bryant & Stratton College in Milwaukee and worked various jobs as a secretary. Later she received a programming degree from Madison College. She flourished in the Data Processing field working in the dairy and insurance industries until her retirement in February of 2011.

While retired, she and Jeff enjoyed playing golf, taking many mini-vacation trips, touring wineries, and spending time with their grandson.

Barb will be deeply missed by her husband Jeff; sons, Kyle (Liz) and Aaron (Michele); grandson, Kelby; sisters, Linda (Ken) Perkins, Diana (Larry) Schluter, and Nancy Geer-Dabron; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Tom Dabron and Greg Suzda.
