Barbara Heath

Barbara Ann Heath “Barbie doll”, age 80, of Madison passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on April 2, 1941, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Margaret (Spader) and Raymond Heath.

Barbara enjoyed needlepoint, old movies, listening to country music, and collecting dolls.

She is survived by her sister, Debra (Edward) Franklin; sister-in-law, Gloria Heath; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Richard Heath; two sisters, Diane (William “Bill”) Johnson and Susan (Buford “Shorty”) Sherrick; and nephew, David Johnson.

A special thanks to her good friend, Mary Ann; to the RISE UP, Inc. staff (especially Kelly Kittle); and Meriter Hospital Palliative Care Team.

A celebration of life picnic will be held in the Spring around Barbara’s birthday.
