Barbara Patton

Barbara Kay Patton, age 73, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at home with her family by her side.  She was born November 11, 1947 in Madison, WI to the late Royal and Mary Torgerson.  She married Anthony Patton in Madison on September 3, 1966.   Barbara and Anthony raised their 4 children on Madison’s westside.   Barbara loved her family immensely, kept everyone’s schedule in order and closely monitored the remote control.   When she was not working at various medical facilities in the Madison area, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and was an expert coupon cutter.   She loved all the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren at their homes or at a family property up north.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Anthony; children, Todd (Kim) Patton, Tim (Cathy) Patton, Troy (Christine) Patton, and; grandchildren, Colin Patton, Thomas Patton, Rachel (Bill) Downs, Tyler Sitts, Riley Patton, Rosemary Patton, and Zachary Patton; great-grandchildren Jayden Sitts, Nora Downs, Wesley Downs, and Nash Downs; and a brother, Jack Torgerson.   Barbara is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Patton, in 1997. We take great comfort knowing mom is with Tara once again.

There will be a visitation for Barbara on Friday, July 16 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, from 1-4 PM.
