Bernadette Wilhelm

Madison -- Bernadette ""Bunny"" Wilhelm, age 97 passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Avalon Senior Care.   She was born on November 20, 19 12 in Sun Prairie, the daughter of John Francis and Katherine (Mautz) Larme.   Bunny grew up in Belleville , Wisconsin .   On August 24, 19 46 Bunny was united in marriage to Carl H. Wilhelm of Madison . She did secretarial work all her adult life including working at the medical   society in Washington DC , during World War II.   On November 20, 1977 Bunny retired as administrative assistant to the director of the Wisconsin State Historical Society.     Bunny is survived by her son, Greg Wilhelm of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl on November 6, 19 67 , two sisters; Genevieve Rundle and Helen Shortell and a brother, Dr. Francis P. Larme.     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1134 St. James Ct. , on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Thomas Baxter officiating.   A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.   Burial will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery .
