Bernice Hall

Bernice Hall, age 64,  was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Bernice passed away at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, WI on July 3rd, 2021 while surrounded by family..

She was born to Joe and Lucille Hall on June 15, 1957. Bernice was raised by her parents in Chicago, IL and attended Wendell Phillips High School.  She was strong, loving, caring and funny. Bernice raised three boys in Chicago up until 1994 when she moved to Middleton WI.

Bernice loved family get-togethers, cooking, playing cards, putting together puzzles, listening to music, watching tv shows and movies. She had one granddaughter named Anna whom she loved dearly.

Bernice is survived by her sons,  whom she adored, Ronnie (Christina) Hall of DeForest; Lanell (Barbara Jacob) Hall of Middleton, and  Derek (Lynn Meinholz) Hall of Middleton; her sons’ father Gaylord Wellmaker of Madison, WI; her sister Barbara Hall of Kankakee, IL; her sister Annette Hall of Madison, WI; her sister Bernita Smith of Madison, WI; her brother Terry Hall of Chicago, IL; June (Theresa) Hall of Chicago IL; a granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; along with numerous other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucille Hall; her grandparents, and her twin sister, Denise Hall.

A visitation for Bernice will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd, Madison , on Friday, June 9 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to her family would be appreciated.
