Betty Berg

Betty Ellen Berg, age 63, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 16, 2020. She was born in Reedsburg, the daughter to Durlin and Marcella (Rusch) Behn.

Betty was a graduate of Reedsburg High School. She married Eugene Berg in Rock Springs, WI on June 21, 1980. Together they raised two daughters, Erin and Allison.

When Betty moved to Madison, she started working at Verex. She then spent almost 30 years at Bache Funding until 2015 and Union Federal until her retirement in October of 2019. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Middleton and enjoyed volunteering when she was able. Betty had a love of camping, card playing, sewing, quilting and crafts. Her heart for serving others, devotion to her family, and unwavering faith are a true inspiration.

Betty will be dearly missed by her husband Eugene; daughter Erin (Dan) McMahon of Lake Mills and their children, Raiden Berg, Quinn, Naomi and Asher McMahon; and daughter, Allison (Marc) Schweiger of Sun Prairie and their children, Dax, Lyv, and Arthur Schweiger.

A Celebration of Betty’s life and victory in Christ will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 6815 Schneider Rd., Middleton with Pastors Randy Hunter and Kelly Huet officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow.
