Stoughton- Betty Jane Hull went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was born in Madison on April 3, 1926, the daughter of George and Mollie King. Betty married Charles Nelson Hull on June 3, 1945. Together they raised seven children, five boys and two girls. Betty and Charles not only farmed but they also owned the NFO Reload Plant in the Stoughton Industrial Park for 17 years. She ran the office and handled all the bookwork. When the business closed she decided to go to work at the Stoughton Walmart, which had just opened. Betty was a Walmart Associate for 26 years. She always loved to be busy. The day she retired at age 87 was a sad day for her. Betty had so many talents, she was an amazing cook. Everything centered around awesome food. Betty did beautiful handwork, including sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She was such an inspiration to those who knew her. Betty will be greatly missed. Unfortunately Betty has had to bury four of her five sons in the last 7 years, but her faith remained unshakably strong. Betty and Chuck were members of Christ Lutheran Church since they moved to Stoughton in 1960. Betty is survived by her son, Nick (Roxanne) Hull; daughters, DeAnne (David) Roeske and Caroline (Gary) Flood; daughters-in-law, Nancy Hull and Lynn Hull; 13 grandchildren, Danny and Chad (Tamara) Hull, Tina and Tami (Mark) Snyder, Katie (Chad) Ganshert, Melissa (Brad) Beckwith, Rachel (Joel) Rozeboom, Laura (Shad) Sherrington, Lisa (Jayne) Schimelpfenig, Scott (Beckie) Schimelpfenig, Sarah (John) Schiltz, Luke (Megan) Schimelpfenig and Emma Flood; 26 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles in 1992; and sons, Charles Mark in 2009, Jeffrey in 2010, Chris in 2011, and Michael in 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton, with Rev. Scott Geister-Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, in the church fellowship hall. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Thursday at church. Memorials may be made in Betty's name to the Christ Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Please share your memories of Betty.
