Betty Jane Robyn

Stoughton- Betty J. Robyn, age 83, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Skaalen Home. She was born in Chicago on September 5, 1925, the daughter of Richard and Helen (Shepard) Rowe. On February 23, 1952 Betty married Emil Robyn in Chicago at St. Paul's Church. Betty enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Emil; two children, George (Joy) Robyn and Evelyn (Michael) Viland; five grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Rowe and Patricia (Donald) Rich; and many relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Robyn; and sister, Mary Lou Magnuson. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Skaalen Home Chapel, 400 N. Morris Street, Stoughton, with Rev. James Koza and Fr. Robert Bramlett officiating. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service Saturday. A special thank you to Dr. Guirish Agni and Dr. Edward Prendergast for their care and attention of Betty.  Memorials may be made in Betty's name to Skaalen Home, or to St. Luke, Episcopal Church, Madison.
