Betty Ann Stenjem

Betty Ann Stenjem, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 as the result of a car accident.  She was born on April 14, 1940 in McFarland to Carl and Ella (Thorson) Larson. 

Betty loved her quilting on Tuesdays at McFarland Lutheran Church, and she was avid with crocheting as well.  Before his passing, Betty never turned down a dance with her husband, John, and she missed him dearly after his passing in 2004.

Betty is survived by her niece Ann (Chris) Bjordahl with their children Richard, Katie, and Lydia; cousin Glenn Larson; very good friends Melinda Burns, Kathy Younger, and Awa Joof and family; and extended family too many to mention. 

She was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; and other nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Cress MCFARLAND.  Visitation will continue from 10-11:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at McFarland Lutheran Church, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, WI 53558.  Betty will be reunited with her husband John at Lower McFarland Cemetery immediately following services at church.  Friends and guests are welcome to bring a dish to pass for the reception following the burial as well.
