Betty June (Myers) Zimmerman, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Homestead Living, Inc., Waunakee, WI, after a gallant two-year battle with Alzheimer’s.

Betty was born on a hot and humid day in St. Louis, Missouri to loving parents, Clarence Leonard and Opal Effie (Laramore) Myers on June 28, 1931.

Betty married Robert ("Bob") Junior Zimmerman on September 30, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri and they were blessed to celebrate 67 years of marriage before Robert ("Bob") passed away in 2017. Their love and devotion for each other was a treasure beyond compare. How they loved to dance!

Betty never knew a stranger and was very involved wherever she was living.

She enjoyed theater, gardening, volunteering but most of all her family.

Betty is survived by her three children, sons, Michael (Haydee) of Sarasota, FL, and Stephen (Sue) of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter, Penny (Steve) Haugen of Waunakee, WI; five grandchildren, Jessica (Terry) Granec, Brian (Trisha) Haugen, Katherine Zimmerman (Brock Bowman), Paige (Brian) Buck, Lee (Diana) Haugen; three step-grandchildren, Christina Perez, Robin Perez, and James Perez; and eleven great-grandchildren, Samantha Granec, Halley Granec, Lucas Granec, Eric Granec, Logan Buck, Gavin Buck, Owen Haugen, Henry Haugen, Alexis Haugen, Steven Haugen, and Sienna Bowman.
