Bettye Johnson

Madison - Bettye Lucille Johnson, age 73 passed away on June 26, 2013. On January 28, 1940, Bettye Lucille Taylor was born to the union of Johnnie Mae and Allen Taylor. She later moved to Chicago, where she met and married Frederick Ellis Johnson and to their union three children were born; Rosella, Roselind and Frederick Ellis Johnson Jr.
She leaves to mourn her two children, Roselind and Frederic Johnson; one brother, Jack Taylor of Macon, Georgia, a sister, Delores Ward of Chicago, IL; thirteen grandchildren; two nieces, Vera and her husband Charles and Karen, and a whole host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00 am with Tim Rasaki Emmanuel officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of services. Graveside services will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
