Beverly J. Berry

Beverly June (Braley) Berry, age 85, passed away peacefully at Agrace Hospice Care on Thursday, November 30, 2023 after a long battle with lung cancer.  Born on September 8, 1938 in Madison, Wisconsin, Beverly was born the daughter of Orville Braley and Mildred Aberle Braley.  She married Robert “Bob” Berry on October 16, 1956 in Madison.  They grew their family to include two children, Dennis Gene and Sandra Lorraine.

Beverly worked for the state of Wisconsin for 28 years in the Department of Corrections from which she eventually retired.  Beverly was a loving, caring, and kind person.  May she now find peace in her Father’s arms. 

Beverly is survived by her soulmate of over 67 years, Robert Eugene Berry; children: Dennis (Dawn) Berry of Lime Ridge and Sandra (Frank) Sittig of Richland Center; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, and Tyler Berry; Daymond and Anthony Sittig, Lauren Sittig Harris, Civic, Izzabella, Brooklyn, Kiera, and Anthony Scott La Verne Sittig; Lance and Kalea Harris, Waylen Sittig, Joey Halzel; and John, James, and Annabelle Berry.  She is further survived by Rodney Harris, Amy Berry, McKenna Engebretson, Issach Lietz, and many other relatives and friends. 

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Mildred Braley, brother David Lee Braley, sister-in-law Mary Lorraine Heim, and great-grandson Daymond Michael Ryder Sittig.

We also want to make special mention of Dave’s children: Mike and Kathy Scooter and Kirk Braley whom we spent much time with when we were growing up.  Also in our hearts is Dave’s wife, Elaine Braley, who is no longer with us.  God bless you all! Much love!

Beverly will be extremely missed.  She was the best of the best!
