REEDSBURG - Beverly Mae (Anderson) Erbs, age 54, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 7, 2010, after a two year battle with brain cancer. Bev was born January 30, 1956, to Rueben E. Anderson and Donna A. (Engelhardt) Anderson. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1974. She pursued a higher education at University of Wisconsin - Stout where Bev was part of the Beta Pi sorority before deciding that was not the right path for her. After leaving UW-Stout, Bev pursued a new life in the Twin Cities where she made life-long friends. Bev's cancer came on suddenly in November 2008 yet she was not diagnosed until January 2009. The cancer was aggressive but she remained faithful throughout her treatments and adamant that she would defeat the disease. She found support through her family, faith, friends, community, and Gilda's Club Madison. Being blessed with a wonderful husband and four beautiful children, Bev lived the life she had always wanted. Her world revolved around her family and she lived to see her children be successful. She made being the best mom she could be her life goal, and she achieved that goal. Never missing a game, Bev was just as much a part of her kids games as being on the field was. Her voice could be heard from every football sideline and every bleacher stand. Bev enjoyed being active in her kids athletic clubs and supporting both her children and their passions. Bev was known about the community for her amazing personality and perpetual happiness. Bev loved everyone and everything and was loved by everyone whose life she touched. It was never a question for her; she would always put others before herself. Even though Bev is in a better place, we will remember her brilliant smile shining down from above and know that she is with us in spirit. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Larry, of Reedsburg and four Children: Emily, of Madison, and Travis, Nathan, and Jacob, all of Reedsburg. Her mother, Donna Anderson, of Sun Prairie, Wis.
