Beverly J. Moore

Stoughton- Beverly J. Moore, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Stoughton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Stoughton on September 15, 1942, the daughter of Willard and Olga (Hauge) Rinden.  Bev graduated from Stoughton High School in 1960.  She worked for the State of WI Department of Motor Vehicles for many years and retired from B & G Foods in August 2009.  Bev enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing Yahtzee, Euchre and Cribbage.  She enjoyed numerous trips with her sister Lois to Reno, Las Vegas and to various Cribbage tournaments, most recently in Slinger on June 26 and 27.  Bev was an avid sports fan, especially the Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers.  She loved butterflies and eagles.  Bev is survived by her son, Edward (Ronda) Best; daughter, Teresa ""Tess"" Thruman; grandsons, Paul Thruman and Justin Best; great grandson, Owen; five sisters, Lois Fosdal, Mary Lou (Mike) Grenie, Jo Ann Stock, Sandra Rinden and Laurie Cliffton; two brothers, Larry and Richard Rinden; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kris Hartman.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Best; two brothers, Stanley and Douglas; sister, Carole Jones; brother-in-law, John Stock; sister-in-law, Debe Rinden; and niece, Amy Rinden.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 2, 2010 at West Koshkonong Lutheran Church, 1911 Koshkonong Road, Stoughton, with Rev. Richard Dowling officiating.  Burial will follow in West Koshkonong Cemetery.  Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at church immediately following the burial.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton and from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Monday at church.  A special thank you to the staff of Stoughton Hospital 3rd floor, especially Paul, to Home Health and HospiceCare Inc.
