Bonnie Baptist

Fitchburg: Bonnie J. Baptist, age 69, passed away peacefully at Agrace HospiceCare on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Bonnie was born in Boone, IA on June 1st, 1944. She was raised in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from East High School. Bonnie was married to William Baptist on June 7th, 1980 and they were married for 33 years. Bonnie has two daughters, Sandra and Suzanne, from her first marriage.
Calm, gentle, kind and patient are the qualities we most admired in Bonnie. For over 25 years, Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant for SVA. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and stamping. With a caring heart, Bonnie created hundreds of beautiful greeting cards for her family and friends. Her greeting cards always brought smiles on the faces of the people she loved.
Bonnie is survived by her children Sandra Kephart (Scott) and Suzanne Marr; her grandchildren Aaron, Anna and Laura Landgraf, Hunter Kephart and Dylan Marr.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband William Baptist, her mother Mildred Gray, and her brother Jim McGregor.
A Christian Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31st, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. 7337 Hubbard Avenue, Middleton, WI. A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the narthex of the church. A luncheon will immediately follow in Fellowship Hall. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.
