Madison - Bonnie Berman died peacefully at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center on Thursday, December 10, 2009 , after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.  She was born in Madison on April 10, 1950.  Bonnie was a devoted and loving daughter who cared for her parents until their deaths. Bonnie was a patron of the arts, attending many concerts at the Overture Center and Memorial Union, and many art exhibitions at the Chazen Gallery and Madison Art Center .  The Overture Center was a particular source of pride for Bonnie, she campaigned for its creation and saw it as a gem in downtown Madison .     Bonnie was a true ""foodie"".  She was always thinking about food-what restaurant to visit, which grocery store to shop in and what exotic menus to pursue.  She had friends at all her favorite restaurants and food markets.      Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lynn Berman.  She is survived by her brother, Barry (Debra) Berman and her niece, Leah and nephew, Andrew.   She is also survived by friends who supported her in her battle with cancer.  Her family expresses gratitude to her special friend, Natasha.     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the UW Center for Patient Partnerships, 975 Bascom Mall, Suite 4311 , Madison , WI , 53706 or the Madison Children's Museum, 100 State Street , Madison , WI , 53703 .     Bonnie loved life, art and beauty, and fought hard to enjoy every day. Funeral services will be at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd. , on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 10:30 am .  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery , Madison .
