Bradley LaVerne Simon

August 21, 1988 — September 23, 2010

  Bradley LaVerne Simon, age 22, of Waunakee lost the battle of his life on Sept. 23, 2010 at Luther Midelfort Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. Bradley was born on August 21, 1988 in Madison, WI and is the son of Phil and Kathy (Statz) Simon.   In addition to his parents he is further survived by his brother Paul (Randi) Simon and grandparents Carol and LaVerne Statz as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.    He was preceded in death by his grandparents Michael F. and Ferne Simon.  Brad was in his senior year at UW Stout where he was majoring in Construction Management with a Business Minor. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Waunakee.   From an early age Brad worked at Michael F. Simon Builders and just completed his summer internship at Windsor Homes.   We will remember Brad for the fun-loving, go-getter that he was.   He was always making plans.   He loved snowboarding, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, playing soccer and being with his many friends and family.   He always brought happiness to those around him with his wonderful smile and laugh.   He lived his life to the fullest and never took anything for granted.   For Brad's story check out www.caringbridge.org/visit/bradsimon Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee. Monsignor James Gunn will officiate. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
