Brenda Sue Moorhouse

Brenda will forever be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her, most especially as the Best Big Sister ever, a warm and generous, protective spirit who always watched out for her little brother and sister from the day they were born.  

She was full of smiles and joy and was funny, with a silly, sly sense of humor and love of teasing and pranks.  She seized every opportunity to sing and dance. Solving puzzles and math problems, reading books, and watching movies, creating beautiful arts and crafts, eating out and shopping, were some of her favorite hobbies. 

The most important thing to her though, was spending time with the people that she loved, with her family and friends (she loved her days with her friends and staff at MARC East) and connecting with new friends. 

Family events, celebrations, and holidays - the biggest one of all, her birthday, were always anticipated with pure excitement and joy. Brenda was the brightest of lights that shone on everyone who knew her, we are forever blessed to have been so lucky.  Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.

Brenda is survived by her brother Brett (Janelle) Moorhouse, sister Kara (Dave Bell) Moorhouse Bell, stepmother Sue (Mike) Carmichael, and many loved Moorhouse, Wessels, and Stephani aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.  

Brenda was preceded in death by Jack Moorhouse, her father and Sandra Moorhouse, her mother.

We would like to thank the entire team at Agrace Hospice and BKAscent Homes for their loving care and support of Brenda and her family.

Visitation will be from 10-12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Cress EAST WASHINGTON with a Celebration of Life for Brenda to begin at 12:00 PM, and a lunch gathering to follow in the community room.
