Breyanna Kalk

In loving memory:

Breyanna Kalk, age 17, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 7, 2016. She was born March 12, 1999, in Madison, WI. She spent most of her life growing up in Marshall, WI where her Nana and Papa raised her Father.

Breyanna attended Marshall Senior High School and was very excited to graduate in May of 2017. Breyanna had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that made others crack up along with her. She had a big heart and would always make sure she took care of the ones she loved. As a child, Breyanna's love for animals led her to work with horses and cows. She loved going on hikes, exploring nature and visiting beautiful places while on road trips with her family. One of her favorite places was her family's secret beach in San Simeon, CA. Breyanna loved the ocean and spent four straight birthdays in California visiting family.

Breyanna had a special bond with her brother Craig Jr., and they always watched out for one another. She shared her family's love of music and spent many years listening to her dad play guitar. Breyanna was a daddy's girl that loved to fix cars and garden with him. Breyanna's heart broke when her dad passed away on April 28, 2014. We find peace knowing that Craig Sr. and Breyanna are together again in Heaven.

Breyanna is survived by her "Nana" Roxanne (Kalk), "Papa" Randy (Kalk), "Mama" Natasha (Kalk, Stepmother), Tosha (Przekurat, Mother), two Great Grandmothers (Audrey Kalk and Dolores Miller), two Brothers (Craig Kalk Jr. and Jadyn Teichmiller), Sister Ebonee (Przekurat), Uncle Matt (Kalk), two Aunts (Kristin Kalk and Erica Bourgois), Cousin Logan (Chareun) and all the Greenwood-Nelson Family. She left behind many close friends that will miss her very much. She looked up to many of her teachers and people that helped her during her last few years. She was proceeded in death by her father Craig Kalk Sr. and her Great Grandfather Elton Kalk.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. with Father Mike Tess officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Breyanna Kalk Memorial Fund and mailed to PO Box 561, Sun Prairie, WI, 53590.

The family thanks God for blessing us with the time we had with our beautiful Breyanna. We thank all the wonderful people who have helped us mourn Craig's death and continue to show their love and support during this loss. We could not have done it without you all.

Breyanna, your beautiful soul will live on in the others you saved because of your generous gift as an organ donor. May your soul rest in peace with your dad. Until we meet again, we love you both, always and forever.
