Brian Hicks

March 16, 1983 — October 2, 2013

Brian Hicks passed away on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013. Taken from us way too early in life at the age of 30, he was a great son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend. He had those great qualities of loyalty and kindness that made him always think of those closest to him when he did anything, and always cared deeply about what we thought and how we felt. Brian will be painfully missed by all of us, but will forever remain in a special place in our hearts where we can talk to him anytime of the day.
His passions were hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. Brian will get to continue enjoying these because we will be taking him with us whatever we do and wherever we go. We can see him now walking through the fields with his favorite hunting dog Pepper. Brian had a lot more friends than he knew about, who loved and cared for him, but he gets to see now how much he will be missed.
This last year Brian had started his own business remodeling houses, for which he had an amazing talent. Unfortunately the stress became too much for him to keep it going.
"IF TEARS CAN BUILD A STAIRWAY AND MEMORIES A HANDRAIL, I'D WALK RIGHT UP TO HEAVEN AND BRING YOU HOME AGAIN, WE WILL FOREVER MISS YOU BRIAN"
Brian is preceded in death by three grandparents, Anthony and Mary K. Schwarz, and Norman Hicks Sr.; two aunts, Kristine Hicks and Sharon Hicks; and one uncle Gary Statz. He is survived by his parents Norman and Kathleen Hicks; brothers and sisters, Brenda Davenport, Matt and Monique Hicks, Jason and Brooke Hicks, and Tony Hicks; one niece Jaelyn; five nephews, Brogan, Reece, Isaac, Camden, and Tennyson; grandmother Deloris Hicks; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
